The first question - increasing part size (August 3, 2008, 05:25:33 AM) quote
Have been using Osiris on and off for several years - a continuing problem has been part size. Osiris refuses to allow me to increase this above 5000 lines. MT-NW allows more - typically I use 10,000 lines.

Ideas?

Intel iMac, OS X 10.4.11, MT-NW installed and running fine...but had the same issue on a G4 with 10.3.9

Thanks!

Hi Craig,

Been a while since I looked at the source, but it's probably capped at 5000 because of possibly an earlier limitation of MT-NW. I will look at it when I get a chance -- a few other things will take priority so if you don't see anything in about a week please post again in this thread.

Thanks for the reminder. Got side tracked with some other things but it's on the radar. Hopefully within a week or so.

OK, getting to it . Problem is because of a bug in OS X Leopard, there are a few apps I have to develop in Tiger, which is a pain. But bracing myself for the reboot

In the meantime, you could speed things along by pointing me to a limit on MT-NW part sizes. When I set it at 5,000 that was the recommended cap. I tried to find something documented but haven't been able to yet.

Thanks, your Uber-ness!

When I manually post with MT-NW, I've gone as high as 10,000 lines with no issues...running 10.4.11 here by the way...

A thousand thanks - it took 10000 lines without a problem...a 800K image got split into 10000 and 7800 lines.

I appreciate the personal attention
